Acting

I act in various productions (theatre, film, television) and have done so for a number of years. For more about my exploits in the world of acting check out the 'acting' posts over at 'The Musings Cafe'

Over the last 12 months I have been lucky enough to be involved in some of the biggest productions shot in the UK.

These include 'Clash of the Titans' where I played a zealot. (yes, that's me under all that makeup and hair).
Robin Hood where I played a French army soldier (Note the authentic cars in the background)

and The Special Relationship, a film about Tony Blair and Bill Clinton, where I was able to play one of Tony Blair's aides as well as do stand-in work for Michael Sheen who was playing Tony Blair.

As the end of the year approached I did three days working with an excellent cadre of actors including Michael Gambon, Colin Firth, Geoffrey Rush and Helena Bonham-Carter on 'The Kings Speech'.

2010 has been good to me so far having been involved in the new Simon Pegg movie 'Burke And Hare', as well as a low budget movie 'Acts of Godfrey' and Clint Eastwood's latest directorial effort 'Hereafter'. I've also done a corporate video for Sony and two commercials, one for Babybel and one for Bulmers Cider. Both these should be out sometime in August.

My latest appearance on screen is in Steven Spielberg's masterpiece 'War Horse' where I got a featured part. if you've seen the film you'll remember the big cavalry charge near the start of the war. Watch as the Germans hear and see the British Cavalry approaching. You'll see me stand up in frame, look horrified and run with the rest of the soldiers into the treeline.

I've also been lucky enough to act on stage with some great people at both Hartley Arts Group and The Loddon Players. A quick jump over to their web-sites will fully inform you about those productions.
